Uvita Construction Company
A building contractor leverages a website and digital marketing to find nature-lovers looking to build their dream home in Costa Rica.
Zevi Media is represented by an honest, responsible, kind person that is dedicated to their work. This makes them excellent at their job and achieving the desired results. His name is Gibran and I am very satisfied with his work.
A local builder in Costa Rica’s booming Southern Pacific coast, La Costa Construction (DBA Uvita Construction Company) identified the importance of having an online presence from the beginning of its operations.
Since 2015, we have collaborated on multiple iterations of the UCC website and a variety of marketing strategies.
Establishing a digital presence for La Costa Construction
As a newly created business venture, La Costa Construction entrusted us to help get them going with both digital and print marketing material.
We started by creating the La Costa Construction logo, business cards, and business brochures, followed by their first website.
The objectives of the first website developed for UCC were:
- Establish a bilingual (English / Spanish) digital presence for La Costa Construction
- Keep the website user-friendly and light-weight
- The primary call-to-action was a simple contact form
As part of this initial phase, we assisted La Costa Construction in setting up the following:
- Domain registration
- Business email configuration and deliverability
- Social media profiles
Incorporating video production
As video began to play a prominent role of digital story-telling, we developed a series of short videos to help communicate not only the quality workmanship which La Costa Construction delivers its projects, but also the real-life experiences of home-owners.
Content marketing
As a first phase in the digital marketing strategy for La Costa Construction, we developed a blogging calendar that targeted commonly searched phrases for English speakers.
The articles were then promoted across platforms where foreigners likely to build in Costa Rica had been identified to spend time online.
Converting the Uvita Construction Company website into a sales tool
As La Costa Construction began to grow, and the UCC website began to attract more visitors, it was time to re-evaluate the company’s offer.
With the help of analytics data and the owner’s experience in dealing with his customers, we redefined the business’ offer by applying the Storybrand methodology to help speak to the prospective customer’s hesitations of building in a foreign country.
Aside from updating the website’s copy, we also refined the project inquiry form to help the owner more easily qualify prospective projects.
